Using Technology to Teach listening Skill

     Listening is a receptive skill and is taught on the second lesson of the unit.

I often use a radio cassette player to play recorded tapes, and disks  to demonstrate for the listening text. And I myself sometimes record listening texts, this is useful because students can listen to various sources from me which are not included in the textbooks . I also download listening scripts from VOA specials. These are of great importance to me. Videos help me too, because students listen to it and see the animation actions. This arises students’ interests.

  In conclusion, listening skill is the most difficult for students every level of English. Technology must be useful fot students and an effective tool to support teaching English.
