Nobody can deny that combining different skills in teaching and learning is very useful and effectively. However, to make a model to help people know or realize steps in process is clearer. What we should do in each step in a lesson is not an easy question...HungTam_TongCombining different skills in learning and teaching English
CALL course is very interesting. I highly appreciate Blog because I think the blog helps me much in my teaching. It is the place where I can relate to my students easily. I myself can express my thinking or my students can add comments so that I can understand them more: What they want from me and what they think about my teaching.Blog is also the place where people can share experiences they got during their study. As for hot potatoes, it is necessary for testing, but it takes a lot of our time for the teachers to prepare the exercises. Audacity is helpful for teaching listening and checking the students'mistakes in speaking. I already used it to check my students' mistakes and they liked it very much because they could listen to their voice, intonation, stresses... they used again. They could find the mistakes themselves and corrected them. I preffered spending more time in PPt because we use ppt much when teaching. I find nothing in CALL boring. Everything is helpful. I learn much after CALL course. Moon. moon75463Feedback - TEFL Program
Hi Ngoc, You graduated from my center a long time ago and I think you haven't come back yet. Now, we have over 100 computers at my center. If we have time, ability and want to, we have enough computers for our teaching. It is my plan in the future so that I do not have to do all right away. You see, in our teaching it is not suitable to use PPt or Hot potatoes all the time. We must choose which is the most suitable for which inorder to get the best results. If you teach the same field with me, we can share! Moonmoon75463Short-term and long-term plans and possibilities for using computer assisted language learning in my teaching environment.
"sreencast " is the most useful tool to me in this class :)  it's my first time noticed this useful tool.  I don't need to teach people some skills face to face, but still make it work :)

and the most frustration is the HTML project, I guess....things seemed not go well all the time, but I'm glad that I have that learning experience.

I think we don't have enough time to earn in this "complex technique" area... still need to work hard on it:)

even though I gave up creating my own HTML website, I still hope I have chance to create one someday :)

The screencasts are wonderful when working at home, and when you slowed down a little and started telling what you were doing to get from step A to step B, they became even better! As far as assigning projects, I really think we all learned the maximum possible because we were doing things that really interested us. I'll guarantee you that I would not have spent nearly the time I did developing 'pure listening' quizzes had it not been something I'd chosen to do. The badge idea is terrific, and doing them late in the class is a great way to remind us of things we may have forgotten. Dare I suggest that people be encouraged to do more of them? bettycornellFeedback - Instructor
I several times wished there were a way to search the site. There were times in the last few weeks when I thought there might be a screencast that would answer a question I had, but couldn't find it. Other than that, the only thing I didn't like was that it kept changing...That's probably not going to happen so much in the future, I'd guess.bettycornellFeedback - Course Website

I think u made a good E-lesson plan because u use pictures and sounds perfectly. I hope I can do like u Nham. But I wonder how much time do u spend to collect files to insert into a lesson plan? Is it possible for you at your school to access to the Internet? If so it's more convenient to do the task. thank 4 ur E-lesson plan.pearlsound7576 Catherine's presentation powerpoint
Your reflections on how to apply computer-assisted language learning with teaching English skills are deep in thought and it seems that you a specialist. I think you must be working on this fields for some years and you also attended many workshops on using techniques to teach English with the help of computers. Lucky you. I wish I can do like you Thanh. Good success in life anfd work.pearlsound7576Violet- My presentations
Hi, Chantel, Janice and Maggie got their files directly from my computer, so they did not use your flash drive, but if you haven't found it yet, please let me know your email address, and I'll email your file to you, okay? Best way to reach me is cornellbetty@yahoo.com Betty bettycornellThis week...
I remember getting it back in class. I brought it to work and it got mixed in with everything. I am in the process of moving everything to another classroom, so things are a little messy. I am pretty sure that it will be on my desk once I find the surface of it.chantelsnhuThis week...

Did you get your flash drive back after class, Chantel? I looked through my stuff and don't see it, but if you think there's a possibility that it was never returned to you, let me know and I'll keep digging.

Good luck getting your assignments done. I will be at SNHU from 3pm on Thursday, so for those have screencast issues, feel free to show up early and record screencasts then on my machine.
