What good is a computer?

I often ask myself this, particularly when my computer breaks down.

However, computers are good for repetitive tasks, and particularly for mixing different media, like spoken words, video, pictures and written text. Here's an example: http://www.uiowa.edu/~acadtech/phonetics

 This is a great website with lots of exciting and colourful activities for beginning students. I like it because it has text accompanied by spoken voice, so students can hear and see what is written.
