Activity Creation

Computer based games, activities, and quizzes are perhaps the most common examples of CALL.  These can be created with downloadable software or online services.  Te downloadable program we will be using is called 'Hot Potatoes'.

First, let's look at some examples.   You don't need to look at all of these, but try to look at a few to see how activities and quizzes can be used.

Tasks
  •  Hot Potatoes -   Create any kind of Hot Potatoes activity, export it as a web page (html file) and attach it to a blog post on EFL537.com. The activity can be very simple (i.e. a 3 questions quiz, a gap activity with a few blanks, etc. )
  • (Optional) Use Google Forms (guide here) or ProProfs Quiz   and try to  create a basic quiz or survey with at least two questions.  Post a link to that quiz (or embed it) in a blog entry..
