How to download online presentations

From Slideshare

First, log in to your Slideshare account.
When users publish presentations on Slideshare, they have the choice of making it available for download or not.
You can find many downloadable Slideshare Presentations that are  tagged with EFL and ESL

When you find one you'd like to download, you should see a 'Get File' link at the top of the presentation.
Click that and save the file.

From Google Presentations

If you see a Google Presentation embedded on a page (like on this page: http://21ctools.wikispaces.com/Google+Reader )
click Menu

Then cick the link to the presentation that looks like this


On that page, click Actions/Download at PPT


How to embed presentations on your blog

From Slideshare
First, make sure you are logged in to your blogger.com account.
When you see a slidehare presentation you'd like to share on your Blogger.com blog.

Click on 'Post to Blogger'

A window will pop up (and take a few seconds to load. Click 'Grant Access'.

You can edit the Title and Post Description if you want.
Then click 'blog this'.

Once you see 'Blog Posted', you have succeeded.  Click 'close'.


From your Google Docs
Go to the  Google Documents page for a presentation you have created or uploaded.
Click 'Share - Publish/Embed'

Then highlight the embed code and 'copy'.  (Edit/Copy, RIGHT click copy, or ctrl-c)

Create a new post on your Blogger blog.  Click the 'Edit Html' tab.
Paste the code into your post (Edit/Paste, RIGHT click paste, or ctrl-v)

Click Publish Post.

Embed a presentation (from Slideshare or Google Presentations) on your blog.
